Meth lab discovered in Kzoo County

OSHTEMO TOWNSHIP, Mich. (WOOD) — Officers discovered a methamphetamine lab in Oshtemo Township Wednesday morning.

The incident started at around 7:30 a.m. when the Oshtemo Township Fire Department responded to a mobile home fire in the 5500 block of Patriots Lane in the area of West KL Avenue and US-131.

When officers arrived, a one-pot meth lab was found and the Kalamazoo County Sheriff’s Department was contacted.

Two adults and three children were living in the trailer, authorities found.

Charges are pending for operating a meth lab.
