Man charged in Hudsonville break-ins

GRAND HAVEN, Mich. (WOOD) – A 20-year-old man has been arraigned on multiple charges in connection to a string of vehicle break-ins that occurred Wednesday morning in Hudsonville.

Kerrius Deontray Gardener of Hudsonville, was charged with illegal use of a credit card, home invasion, simple larceny, and breaking and entering of a motor vehicle on Friday in 58th District Court in Grand Haven.

On Thursday, Ottawa County sheriff’s deputies said they were trying to figure out who stole items like electronics and change from unlocked vehicles that were parked on several streets in the area of Chicago Drive and Van Buren Street.

Gardener is currently lodged in the Ottawa County Jail.
