Police: Women shoplifted almost $1K from store

NORTON SHORES, Mich. (WOOD) – Police are investigating a shoplifting case where two women are suspected of taking almost $1,000 of merchandise from a department store in Norton Shores.

It happened at the Kohl’s located at 5695 Harvey Street on March 26, according to police.

The two women had three young kids with them at the time of the alleged theft, and drove off from the store in a silver Chrysler Pacifica minivan that had a paper license plate in the rear window, police said.

Police described one of the women as being 24 to 28 years old, about 5 feet 5 inches tall and 145 pounds with long, brown hair.

The second woman was described as being about 5 feet 7 inches tall and around 135 pounds with dark blonde hair, police said.

On Friday afternoon, police said they received several tips about the names of the possible suspects. Police have interviewed one person and are hoping to interview the other name soon.
