EUREKA TOWNSHIP, Mich. (WOOD) — A missing Greenville-area woman has been found alive.
Around 5 a.m. Sunday, authorities in Montcalm County found Betty Jane Updike. Her condition was not immediately made available.
Updike, 81, has dementia, authorities said.
Officials say she wandered away from her home in the 8000 block of south Backus Road in Eureka Township, east of Greenville, around 2 p.m. Saturday.
There was an active search for her late Saturday night, including the use of a helicopter and K-9s.
