Feeding West Michigan

GRAND RAPIDS, Mich. (WOOD) Hunger is a problem right in West Michigan, and for many families, it’s something they have to live with year-round. One place that helps is the Feeding America West Michigan Food Bank. It services food insecure homes throughout the area.

Volunteer help is a huge resource at Feeding America West Michigan. But monetary donations make the biggest difference. A $10 donation to the food bank will supply $100 worth of food.

Feeding America West Michigan has a 55,000s square foot warehouse where they store all of their food, including frozen food items. It works with more than 200 food donors that give food on a regular basis.
