WMCAT Connecting with Community Awards Finalist

One place in Grand Rapids is using arts and technology to help further economic and social progress in high school student’s lives.

West Michigan Center for Arts and Technology, or WMCAT, is a supplemental education program for Grand Rapids Public School students that focus on career training and arts engagement.

WMCAT has been selected as one of the finalists for the Connecting with Community Awards.

Student design teams choose outside community partners to work with, Including Kendall, Mutually Human & Downtown Grand Rapids Inc.
