GRAND RAPIDS, Mich. (WOOD) — Forbes has ranked the city of Grand Rapids as number two on its top ten list of America’s best cities for raising a family.
The only town to beat Grand Rapids for the number one spot was Raleigh, North Carolina.
Forbes citied a low cost of living and the fact that 77 percent of residents own their homes, which is the highest rate in the country.
Other cities to make the list include Ogden (Utah), Omaha (Nebraska), and Youngstown (Ohio).
Grand Rapids also won the title of best city back in 2012.
