Meet the Grand Rapids Cyclones

GRAND RAPIDS, Mich. (WOOD) Grand Rapids’ newest professional basketball team, The Cyclones, will hit the court next month. The minor league team is part of the Premier Basketball League, or PBL. The only other PBL team in Michigan, the Lake Michigan Admirals, is based in St. Joseph.

The cyclones have recruited some real talent, both locally and nationwide. Fans may recognize some of the players from area high school and college teams.

As a non-profit organization, it focuses on giving back to the community and increasing awareness on health and wellness.

The Cyclones’ next game is in May at its new home at Rivertown Sports in Grandville. You can see a schedule of games and get ticket information on the Grand Rapids Cyclones website or Facebook page.
