Canning isn’t just for winter

GRAND RAPIDS, Mich. (WOOD) Diane Devereaux is “The Canning Diva,” a Michigan native whose expertise is transforming fresh produce into canned goods. Devereaux is all about teaching people the safety of canning or preparing meals, preserving freshness, and always having fun.

The Canning Diva specializes in canning recipes and West Michigan cooking classes to teach the art of canning.

Devereaux is hosting a Build a Bloody Mary Bar, a Girls Night Out, on Friday, April 25. It’s from 6:30 p.m. to 9:30p.m. at Thought Design on Bridge Street in Rockford. The event is $45. You can sign up online by clicking here.
