SIDNEY TOWNSHIP, Mich. (WOOD) — A man suffered serious injuries after crashing his Ford F-150 into a tree Monday afternoon.

Around 3:50 p.m. Monday, Michigan State Police were called out to Sidney Road near Nevins Road.

They found a 55-year-old Sidney man had crashed his Ford F-150 into a tree. Police determined the driver of the truck was going east on Sidney Road, crossed the westbound lane and struck a tree on the north side of the roadway.

The 55-year-old man was the only person in the truck. The driver was taken to the hospital with serious injuries.

Michigan State Police are asking anyone who witnessed the crash to call 989-352-8444.
