Police seek 2 in armed robbery, shooting

MUSKEGON HEIGHTS, Mich. (WOOD) – Police in Muskegon Heights are searching for two men in connection to an armed robbery and shooting.

It happened just before 11:30 p.m. Tuesday in the 2000 block of Manz Street, Muskegon Heights police said.

When officers got to the scene, they found Keith McBride, 38, with a gunshot wound in his shoulder, in addition to other injuries. Police said he is currently in stable condition at a local hospital.

Police have felony warrants out for for 18-year-old Diaunte Diquan Johnson for armed robbery, and felony warrants for 19-year-old Kevin McBride Jr. for assault with intent to murder, robbery, and weapons violations.

Both men should be considered armed and dangerous and shouldn’t be approached, police said.
