Officer Steve Heyduck and his K9 Ike then arrived and tracked the second person to where he was hiding in a nearby business. That suspect was arrested without incident.
Officers then searched the stolen vehicle and found paperwork addressed to one of the men and what they suspected was marijuana.
The suspects, both in their 20s and from Kalamazoo, were arrested on charges of possessing a stolen vehicle, resisting arrest, possession of marijuana and other “numerous” warrants. They were taken to the Kalamazoo County Jail.
