GRAND RAPIDS, Mich. (WOOD) Every weeknight on WOTV 4 Women, Maranda focuses on topics that impact the lives of West Michigan families. On Thursday, April 24, “Maranda Where You Live” is dedicated to the tough topics of abuse and assault.
April is National Child Abuse Prevention Month. A report of child abuse is made every ten seconds, and it is happening in West Michigan. Maranda brought in experts from across West Michigan to talk about what parents and caregivers need to know to empower and protect their children.
