Van Buren authorities search for missing teen

MATTAWAN, Mich. (WOOD)–  Authorities in Van Buren County are working to find a missing 17-year-old.

Officials say Joseph Taylor of Mattawan was last seen on Monday, April 21, 2014, at his home on 24th Street. Authorities say Taylor got into an argument with his mom and left the home around 6:30 p.m. Monday.missing vb teen2

Taylor’s family and friends began searching various locations around the Paw Paw and Lawton area for Joseph, but could not locating him. Deputies, along with Taylor’s family and friends, have continued to look for Joseph this entire week, but have been unsuccessful in locating him.

His family says they are concerned about him because he takes medication daily. Taylor was last seen wearing blue jeans and a black sweatshirt, with a pink t-shirt. He is about 5’10”, and weighs 155 pounds. Taylor has brown eyes and brown hair.
