TROY, Mich. (AP) — Hundreds showed up at a Detroit-area hotel for a chance to become an extra in the upcoming Superman and Batman team-up movie.

The casting call was held Sunday at Troy’s Somerset Inn.

The Detroit News reports producers are looking for men and women over 18 to play business types as well as military and law enforcement officers.

The film unofficially titled “Batman vs. Superman” is being directed by Zack Snyder and is to feature Ben Affleck as Batman and Henry Cavill as Superman.

Snyder directed Cavill in last year’s “Man of Steel.”
