KALAMAZOO, Mich. (WOOD) — The man who police say shot two people in Kalamazoo Sunday has been charged.
Clifton Earl Davis was arraigned Thursday on two counts of assault with intent to murder, two counts of felony firearm and a counts of being a felon in possession of a firearm.
The shooting happened around 4:20 p.m. Sunday in the 700 block of Trimble Avenue. A 24-year-old was shot in the back and a 23-year-old was shot in the foot. Both were expected to survive.
Davis, 35, was arrested Tuesday, according to a release from the Kalamazoo Department of Public Safety.
He was denied bond Thursday.
