GRAND RAPIDS, Mich. (WOOD) Grand Rapids is home to the largest 25K in the country, with the Fifth Third River Bank Run. The race is coming up on Saturday, May 10. There’s a lot to know before the race. Fifth Third River Bank Run has podcasts with tips for runners and what you need to know for the day of the event, as well as a traffic and parking guide. It’s all on their website.
It’s important to come early the day of the event. Be sure to leave all unnecessary items at home. You are not allowed to leave belongings near the start or finish lines. There is an official gear check at DeVos Place, and you can leave your belongings there for the duration of the race.

Wyoming High School
Non-competitive half and one mile fun runs around the track. All participants receive a t-shirt, race bib, finisher gift, and post-race refreshments. Registration fee is $7.
Sports & Fitness Expo
Friday, May 9, 11 a.m. – 8 p.m.
Vendors, food samples, prizes, pasta dinner, fitness demonstrations, and fashion show. Last chance to register for any race events. Free and open to everyone!
