Caledonia Army specialist dies

CALEDONIA, Mich. (WOOD) — A 26-year-old Caledonia man who had served in the Army for the past three years died from a brain injury on Wednesday.

Specialist David Michael Marlink was a member of the 75th Ranger Regimen, out of Fort Benning, Ga.

Marlink graduated from Caledonia High School in 2006.

The Patriot Guard Riders have been invited by Marlink’s family to stand in honor of his service to the United States during his funeral. Marlink’s family has asked that information regarding funeral services remain private.
