SPARTA TOWNSHIP, Mich. (WOOD) — Authorities shut down a part of 13 Mile Road Friday night after two vehicles crashed Friday night.

Just before 8 p.m., authorities were called out to the area on 13 Mile Road and Long Lake Drive for a crash.

Authorities say 80-year-old Anna Lynema of Cedar Springs was going east on 13 Mile Road when she turned to go northbound onto Long Lake Drive.

She turned in front of a vehicle driven by 18-year-old Leslie Belaire of Sparta who was going westbound on 13 Mile Road. The two vehicles crashed.

Lynema was taken to a Grand Rapids hospital with serious, but non-life threatening injuries. Belarie and her passenger, 18-year-old Jonathan Krumenacker, were taken to another Grand Rapids hospital with serious, but non-life threatening injuries.
