BYRON CENTER, Mich. (WOOD) — Several fire departments were called to a house fire in Byron Center Tuesday.

At least four different departments responded to help put out the fire in the 9500 block of Celery Ave SW between 92nd and 100th St. SW.

Officials say no one was in the home when the fire started.

Smoke from the fire could be seen from miles away, including from 24 Hour News 8’s sky camera from downtown Grand Rapids.
