Eat up in Traverse City

TRAVERSE CITY, Mich. (WOOD) One of the best parts of a road trip or vacation is the food. Part of the fun is trying new things or maybe even splurging a little. We’re taking you inside a couple of markets in Traverse City that are filled with tasty food and homemade goodies that anyone would love. What’s unique about these places is that they can serve up their culinary creations to go!

Folgarelli’s Market & Wine Shop has been at the same location since 1978. They have a huge selection of sandwiches and deli items that you can pack up for a day at the beach or for a bike ride. They also have a wide variety of wines, specializing in Italian and Michigan wines.

Mary’s Kitchen Port has been in business for more than 30 years. They offer salads, sandwiches, soups, and other food options, all made fresh every day right in the store. They also have kitchen specialty items from high-end coffee makers and pots and pans, to pot holders and kitchen towels.

Both markets are easy to find on West Front Street near downtown Traverse City.
