GRAND RAPIDS, Mich. (WOOD) — The outdoor shed area at the Grand Rapids Downtown Market was transformed into a Vintage Street Market Sunday.
Dozens of vendors displayed and sold their goods, including vintage campers, furniture, art, clothes and more.
It was the inaugural day for the Vintage Street Market at the Downtown Market, which will be open four more times this summer.
Dealers say the Downtown Market makes for the perfect venue.
“This has the draw,” Joyce Workman of Vintage Green said Sunday. “People are going to come here. They’ve done a great job promoting it, so traffic was already really good at 10 o’clock when [the street market] opened this morning. Grand Rapids is a happening city so people are going to be here.”
The Vintage Street Market will be open between 10 a.m. and 4 p.m. on the second Sunday of each month from until September.
