Missing Caledonia man found safe

CALEDONIA, Mich. (WOOD) — Kent County authorities say a man with Alzheimer’s disease who went missing Wednesday has been found safe.

Wayne Anthony Miller, 88, left his home in Caledonia around 2 p.m. Wednesday, according to the Kent County Sheriff’s Department. He then went to a friend’s house in Allegan County. He was last seen around 5:30 p.m. at the Parkview Motel on N. Broadway in Hastings.

Thursday morning, the Kent County Sheriff’s Department said that Miller had been found safe in a neighboring county and was returned unharmed to his family.
