HOLLAND, Mich. (WOOD) — Hope College has parted ways with its head basketball coach.

The split between coach Matt Neil and the college was mutual, a Wednesday afternoon statement said.

Neil was head coach at Hope for four seasons, during which the college won three Michigan Intercollegiate Athletic Association (MIAA) championships and posted an 88-26 record.

Last season, the Flying Dutchmen went 20-8 and earned a berth in the NCAA Division III Tournament.
