GR pools opening for the summer

GRAND RAPIDS, Mich. (WOOD) — Since the weather is warming up, pools are getting ready to give people relief from the summer heat.

The Briggs, Richmond and Martin Luther King, Jr. pools in Grand Rapids will be open to the public on June 13 through September 1.

  • The Briggs Pool is located at Lafayette and Knapp NE. The pool will be open Monday through Thursday 12:30-6:00 p.m. and Friday through Saturday 12:30-7 p.m.
  • The Martin Luther King, Jr. Pool is located at Fuller and Franklin SE. The pool will be open Monday, Wednesday through Saturday 12:30-7:00 p.m. and Tuesday 12:30-6:00 p.m.
  • The Richmond Pool is located Richmond and Tamarack NW. The pool will be open Monday 12:30-6:00 p.m. and Tuesday through Saturday 12:30-7:00 p.m.

The open swim fees for residents under 17-years-old will be $1 and for adults $2. The fee for all nonresidents will be $4. All children under 1-year-old get in free.
