Man steals cash from 7-Eleven

OSHTEMO TOWNSHIP, Mich. (WOOD) — Detectives are looking for a man who allegedly stole cash from a 7-eleven store Saturday night.

The robbery happened at the 7-eleven store on West KL Avenue in Oshtemo Township.

Officials said the man took a handful of money as a store clerk was completing a sale and then ran off.

A K-9 unit was called to the scene but was unsuccessful in locating the man.

The suspect is described as a black man in his late teens or early 20’s. He was wearing black pants, a black Nike shirt with a white swoosh, and a black ball hat. Police said he is tall with a slender build.
