Motorcyclist hospitalized after crash in GR

GRAND RAPIDS, Mich. (WOOD) — A motorcyclist was hospitalized with non-life-threatening injuries Sunday afternoon after crashing.

The crash happened on Palmer Street NE, just west of Plainfield Avenue in Grand Rapids.

The male motorcyclist lost control of his bike after going over a speed bump, according to police on the scene. He crashed and lost consciousness for a time.

He then regained consciousness and was hospitalized with non-life-threatening injuries.

He was not wearing a helmet, police said.
