To The Point: State House 59th District primary

GRAND RAPIDS, Mich. (WOOD) — In this May 18, 2014, episode of “To The Point,” Rick Albin speaks to the four Republican candidates running in the primary election for the state House of Representatives 59th District seat.

The 59th District includes the area of Three Rivers, Sturgis and Dowagiac as well as some townships in Cass County and St. Joseph County.

Republicans John Bippus, Aaron Miller, Roger Rathburn and Bob Sills will face off in the Aug. 5 primary. The winner of the primary will face Democrat Mike Moroz in the November election.

The current 59th District representative, Rep. Mike Lori, cannot run again due to term limits.
