Man breaks into home, steals cash

BATTLE CREEK, Mich. (WOOD) – A woman was assaulted and robbed in her home early Wednesday morning.

Battle Creek Police responded to the call around 5 a.m. of an unknown black male who forced his way into a home in the 100 block of Cliff Street.

The suspect assaulted the woman inside, stole an undisclosed amount of money, and flashed a knife at her before leaving the scene on a bike.

The victim described the suspect as a black male who is 5’9” tall.
