GRAND RAPIDS, Mich. (WOOD) You can join the fight to end childhood hunger by simply attending a musical show in Grand Rapids. The B.O.B. is hosting a concert series to help the Will Play for Food Foundation. The foundation partners with Feeding America Food Bank to provide meals for children in need in West Michigan.
From now until August 11, every donation you give to the Will Play for Food Foundation gets you one step closer to an out-of-this-world opportunity. For every $10 you donate, you will receive 50 entries to win a trip to space. You will travel to the edge of space on the XCOR Lynx Mark II spacecraft, reaching an altitude of 338,000 feet. For each donation, you will also receive a reward, ranging from t-shirts to hats to iPhone cases. And the person with the most entries for the month of May will win a VIP trip to Bonnaroo Music and Arts Festival in Manchester, Tennessee. Get details on by clicking here.
You can see some of the bands who are taking part in Will Play for Food on Thursday, May 22, at H.O.M.E. at The B.O.B. in Grand Rapids. David Palma, Gabrial James, and Matt Gabriel will perform starting at 7 p.m.
