Retirement community announces multimillion expansion

GRAND RAPIDS, Mich. (WOOD) — Clark Retirement Community will announce a multimillion-dollar expansion during a groundbreaking ceremony Thursday.

The announcement will be in the Baker-Kendrick Room at Clark Retirement Community, 1551 Franklin St. SE. The ceremony will also feature elements of Clark’s dementia care, including music therapy, life enrichment and cognitive therapy technology tools, according to a release.

The investment will allow Clark to become the “region’s premier dementia care provider”. More than 5 million Americans are currently living with with Alzheimer’s, according to the Alzheimer’s Association.
