Grand Rapids in running for ‘Best Town’ contest

GRAND RAPIDS, Mich. (WOOD) – Grand Rapids is in the running for “Outside’s” Best Towns contest, and it has made it to the second round.

Outside” magazine is a print an online publication that focuses on outdoor sports, living, and health and fitness.

This year’s contest – in its fourth year – started with 64 U.S. cities vying for the title of best place to live in the country.

The second round of the contest ends at 11:59 p.m. Saturday. The contest includes five rounds in all, and a winner will be announced on June 15.
