EZ Mart robbed; suspects caught

OSHTEMO TOWNSHIP, Mich. (WOOD) — Two people in their 20s have been arrested after authorities say they robbed the EZ Mart on Stadium Drive Monday.

Around 9:20 a.m., authorities were called out to the EZ Mart in the 8400 block of Stadium Drive.

The clerk told sheriff’s deputies a suspect with a handgun demanded money. After receiving some cash, the suspect ran away towards a vehicle parked near the EZ Mart.

Minutes later, the vehicle was spotted and stopped by law enforcement in the 3600 block of Stadium Drive.

Two 24-year-olds from Kalamazoo were arrested. Authorities say a weapon and the cash from the EZ Mart were found in the vehicle.
