GR ‘suspicious death’ ruled a homicide

GRAND RAPIDS, Mich. (WOOD) — The Grand Rapids Police Department has ruled the death of a man found in an apartment Monday as a homicide.

Officers responded to 340 Washington St. SE on the report of an unconscious male. When officers arrived, they found 63-year-old Glenn Converse unconscious and unresponsive. The victim was declared dead at the scene.

An autopsy was conducted Tuesday, and it was determined that his death was a homicide. The cause of death is not being released at this time.
