Husband and wife collide on motorcycles

MOTTVILLE TOWNSHIP, Mich. (WOOD) – A married couple was riding motorcycles on U.S. 12 when the wife accidentally rear ended her husband.

St. Joseph County Police said Jeffery Wagner was waiting to turn into the Mottville Speedway on May 26 around 5:30 p.m. when

Pauletta Wagner failed to slow down in time and hit her husband from behind.

Both the husband and wife were riding 2006 Harley Davidson motorcycles.

All of the individuals involved were transported to Three Rivers Hospital with minor injuries, including a 9-year-old boy.

Pauletta was cited for Violation of Basic Speed Law in that she could not stop within a clear assured distance.
