Reward offered in Greenville vandalism case

GREENVILLE, Mich. (WOOD) – Police are offering a $500 reward for information leading to the arrest of the person or people who vandalized a water tower and playground in Greenville.

During the overnight hours of May 11, someone sprayed profane words on the water tower at Veteran’s Memorial Park, according to the Greenville Department of Public Safety.

Then, on Monday, playground equipment at the Danish Kingdom Playground, which is a 14,000-square-foot wooden structure, was similarly vandalized overnight, police said.

The $500 reward is being offered by Greenville’s public safety department through Silent Observer, a release said.
