Open up a good book this summer


GRAND RAPIDS, Mich. (WOOD) Summer is a time of fun and adventure. The Grand Rapids Public Library is giving everyone the opportunity to take an adventure by simply opening a book. The Grand Rapids Public Library is partnering with area organizations as part of GR Reads, it’s a summer reading program designed for adults. The GR Reads list:

  • The Life List by Lori Nelson Spielman
  • Helen and Troy’s Epic Road Quest by E. Lee Martinez
  • Into the Beautiful North by Luis Alberto Urrea
  • The Rosie Project by Graeme Simsion
  • Night Film by Marisha Pessl
  • French Milk by Lucy Knisley
  • Hack by Melissa Plaut
  • Empty Mansions by Bill Dedman and Paul Clark Newell Jr.
  • The Last American Man by Elizabeth Gilbert
  • Nothing to Envy by Barbara Demick
