GUN PLAIN TOWNSHIP, Mich. (WOOD) — Authorities are looking for a man who broke into a convenience store near Plainwell early Monday.

The break in happened around 1 a.m. Monday at the Third Base Convenience Store located at 595 10th Street in Gun Plain Township, near Plainwell. Deputies were called to the store when a witness heard an alarm and saw the front door glass shattered, according to a release.

Police say the suspect took alcohol and cigarettes. The suspect may have fled in a dark colored SUV, possibly a Ford Explorer, the release said.
