Police search for apartment invader

ALPINE TOWNSHIP, Mich. (WOOD) – Police are searching for a suspect who broke into an apartment in the Comstock Park area on Wednesday.

The suspect broke into the apartment in the 4200 block of Alpenhorn Avenue between 6:30 a.m. and 3 p.m., according to the Kent County Sheriff’s Department.

After the suspect forced their way inside through the door, they stole money and electronics, a release said.

Sheriff’s officials said the home invasion resembles another break-in that happened in York Creek Apartments on April 13 where money and jewelry was stolen.

Anyone with information should call the Kent County Sheriff Department at 616.632.6100 or Silent Observer at 616.774.2345.
