Man who allegedly shot girlfriend arrested

BATTLE CREEK, Mich. (WOOD) — The Battle Creek Police arrested Richard Bozell, who allegedly shot and killed his girlfriend Tianna Hunt, in an apartment Saturday.

Police received a tip that Bozell may be at an apartment at Laural Lane. Police entered the apartment and took Bozell into custody.

Bozell is lodged at the Calhoun County Jail and will be facing homicide charges, according to police.

Tianna Hunt, 23, was critically injured in a shooting early Saturday May 24  while at a party in the 200 block of Kendall Road. Tianna Hunt was taken off life-support and is now deceased, according police.
