Driver rear ends semi; airlifted to hospital

MIDDLEVILLE, Mich. (WOOD) — One person had to be airlifted to the hospital after rear ending a semi-truck.

Authorities told 24 Hour News 8 the driver of the van was traveling on M-37 east of Yankee Springs Road when it slammed into the back of a semi-truck.

The driver had to be taken by Aero Med to a local hospital.

The conditions of both drivers are unknown at this time.
