Michigan House of Representatives 58th District:
Republicans Brad Benzing, Stephen Besson, Tim Haberl, Jeff Jacques, Eric Leutheuser, Hal Nottingham and Rochelle Ray will vie for their party’s nomination in the Aug. 5 primary. The winner of that race will face off against Amaryllis Thomas in the November election.

The 58th District includes Branch County and Hillsdale County.
Michigan Senate 29th District:
Republicans Lance Penny and Michael Scruggs will face off in the Aug. 5 primary. The winner will go up against incumbent Democrat Dave Hildenbrand in the November election.
The 29th District includes part of Grand Rapids and Kentwood, Lowell and the Kent County townships of Cascade, Grattan, Lowell and Vegennes.
