See what’s new at Festival of the Arts

GRAND RAPIDS, Mich. (WOOD) It’s the weekend a lot of people in West Michigan look forward to: Festival of the Arts! The annual festival returns to Grand Rapids from Friday, June 6, through Sunday, June 8.

This is the 45th Festival of the Arts, and organizers are debuting some new, fun activities. Kendall College of Arts & Design is bringing in “Art for All Abilities” wheelchair art on Saturday. There will also be a fashion show that takes you through the eras. You can get into the regional arts exhibit at UICA for free during festival. There is also a series of films that either won best film or director’s choice at film festivals throughout Michigan in the last year. You can see those at Kendall’s Federal Building.
