Man shot in GR; uncooperative with police

GRAND RAPIDS, Mich. (WOOD) — A man was shot in the arm and leg in the Grand Rapids area, but is expected to survive.

Authorities said the victim isn’t cooperating police so they’re unsure on the suspect and exact location of the shooting.

Police were originally called to the area of Madison Avenue and Dickinson Street in Grand Rapids early Friday morning, but they’re not positive if the shooting happened in that area at this point.

The victim suffered non-life threatening injuries. The shooting remains under investigation.
