Power outages around BC

BATTLE CREEK, Mich. (WOOD) — There are around 1,600 Consumer’s Energy customers without power near Battle Creek.

The power outages are northeast of Kellogg Airport, mostly in Battle Creek near Springfield.

Consumer’s Energy told 24 Hour News 8 the outages happened around 6:17 p.m. and the problem occurred at a sub-station.

Crews are at the station investigating the cause of the outage and working to get power back on.

Consumer’s Energy says the power will be restored around 12:36 a.m.
