Two shot outside GR home Friday night

GRAND RAPIDS, Mich. (WOOD) — Two people are recovering at separate Grand Rapids hospitals after a shooting Friday night.

Grand Rapids Police were called out to the area around Hancock Street and Eastern Ave just before 9 p.m. Friday. When they arrived, they found a victim suffering from at least one gunshot wound.

The victim was taken to a Grand Rapids and is currently in serious condition.

A second person arrived by private vehicle at a Grand Rapids hospital with a gunshot wound. That victim is also in serious condition.

Police believe both victims were shot outside a house in the 600 block of Oakdale Street SE.

Police are looking for suspects in this case.
