GRAND RAPIDS, Mich. (WOOD) — West Catholic High School and Aquinas College have officially agreed to a dual enrollment program for the next school year for West Catholic juniors and seniors.

Two courses will be offered to eligible students, including an accounting class in the fall and a management class in the spring.

The agreement will allow students to earn college credits that can later be applied to an Associates of Arts or Sciences degree at Aquinas, the college said. The courses will be taught by full-time Aquinas faculty members.

Students will not be charged extra tuition for the classes but will have to purchase any required textbooks.

West Catholic’s principal said the program could expand in the future.
