Let’s Go to Bat for Kids

COMSTOCK PARK, Mich. (WOOD) Every year there’s a big rivalry that is fought on the field at Fifth Third Ballpark. Let’s Go to Bat for Kids pits members of the media (The Media Giants) against priests in the Catholic Diocese of Grand Rapids (The CCWM Padres). The event benefits Catholic Charities of West Michigan, which provides foster care services and counseling, as well as God’s Kitchen in Grand Rapids and Loaves & Fishes in Muskegon.

Let’s Go to Bat for Kids starts at 5:30 p.m. on Thursday, June 26. There is a Little League exhibition game, face painting, donut dunking, fire truck tours, and other entertainment for kids and families. This year’s event is free! You can go to the Catholic Charities of West Michigan website and click on the link to download up to ten free tickets!
