Police looking for 2 suspects who stabbed teen

HOLLAND, Mich. (WOOD) – Police are looking for two suspects who were involved in a fight and stabbed an 18-year-old man in the back early Saturday.

The fight happened around 12:45 a.m. in 00 block of W. 16th Street in Holland. When police arrived, they found an 18-year-old man who lives in the area with a single stab wound to the back, according to a release.

Before police came to the scene, two suspects fled west on foot. A Holland canine team tracked the suspects to the area of 17th Street and Pine Avenue, but they weren’t able to locate the suspects, the release said.

The suspects have been described by witnesses as black males, between 16 to 20-years-old and both have curly black hair.

One of the suspects was wearing an aqua colored hat, gray hooded sweatshirts and khaki shorts. The other suspect was wearing a blue hooded sweatshirt and khaki pants, according to police.

The 18-year-old victim was taken to the hospital with non-life threatening injuries.
