Man airlifted to hospital after rolling truck

MASON TOWNSHIP, Mich. (WOOD) – Deputies say one man was airlifted to the hospital after driving off the road at a high rate of speed.

29-year old Jose Miguek Fernandez-Rosario was driving a 2004 GMC Envoy westbound on M-205 around 8:40 p.m. on Sunday.

Cass County Sheriff’s deputies say the man lost control of the vehicle, ran off the roadway, and rolled several times into a private drive. He then hit a parked pick-up truck.

He was removed from the vehicle and air lifted to South Bend Memorial Hospital to be treated for injuries.

Investigators say Fernandez-Rosario was wearing a seatbelt but believe alcohol was a factor in the crash.
